Whilst we stayed in Port Douglas, we took a half day tour to Mossman Gorge. Here we experienced the wonder of the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and discovered it’s pristine waterfalls and mountains. Our guide took us on a walk through the Gorge and along the way pointed out all the vivid fauna and flora and even shared stories and traditional plant uses. After the guided walk, we spent time browsing through the centre’s contemporary Indigenous art gallery and visiting the gift shop where Zara found the cutest boomerang earrings! A must-see in Queensland.
