Book of the Month – Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

I put off reading this book all holiday as I didn’t want to get too sad or emotional reading it when I was on vacation and want to feel festive and fun… but on our long flight back I decided to pick it up and I couldn’t put it down. The story is beautifully written in a way that whilst there are many elements of sadness it is done in a tender and often humourous way that even though you may have a sudden glump in your throat or a tug at your heart strings, the next minute you’re smiling to yourself or having a little chuckle. Can not recommend this read enough and I’m sure I will be thinking about it’s situations and themes all year long…🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 #fortybooksbeforeforty
