Nicholas Sparks shines in his telling of a love story penned in letters stashed in a lonely post box on a beach – a union written in stars. The same stars shining above the shores of Hope’s North Carolina and the plains of Tru’s Zimbabwe. A love sparked only from a few days of contact but so deep and wide it burned so brightly over thousands of miles of oceans and decades of separation. Maybe there is something to be said of love that knows no concept of space and time, no rhyme or reason but just is a bringing together of kindred spirits.

I really enjoyed this story, and if you like Mr. Sparks – it’s a goodie!
