When we were teenagers, our family had a holiday apartment in Sea Point, and whilst I don’t remember all of the things we used to do, I vivdly remember every holiday at least once heading out to Hout Bay. So it was great fun on our last holiday in Cape Town with my parents to do the same visit with my kids in tow. We did all the typical things: look for shells on the beach, run into the waves briefly calf-high, pop into the nautical antique store, buy shells next door, walk along the pier looking for seals and the main attraction? Stopping for lunch for the best fish and chips in town!
