The Sichuan province and it’s city of Chengdu totally lives up to it’s name as the food capital of China. We had dinner in the Shangri-La hotel on our first night and we were able to try allsorts of Chinese and Sichuan specialty dishes: which included a huge variety of dumplings and noodles. Here we were also able to learn all about the Chinese dining table arrangements and how to eat noodles with chopsticks!
