While we hosted our Ugly Christmas Sweater Party down the road, the girls had a Christmas Movie Night Marathon. They had a great time, and it is something I am going to plan for them every year, as you just need a few bits and pieces.
ESSENTIALS FOR A CHRISTMAS MOVIE NIGHT IN:
1. NETFLIX – So much choice for Christmas Movies, and nobody minds watching something they may have seen many times before! (Elf is our all time favourite!)
2. PICNIC BLANKET – Move all the furniture to ends of the room, lay down a picnic blanket and bring extra blankies and pillows to get comfy.
3. MUNCHIES – The girls had dinner beforehand, but we made sure we left them choccies (found this Celebrate Champagne bottle at Migros) and popcorn (best buy of the year was this Popcorn Machine from Depot that the girls can operate themselves. Just pour in a scoop of kernels, flip a switch and fresh popcorn comes pouring out – no oil, no stove!).
