I now know why Colmar is voted year after year as one of the best Christmas Markets in Europe. The whole town gets decked out and there are 6 markerts in total. And each one is made up of little wooden huts and they are all beautifully decorated top to bottom. Also, everyone is selling something different and everything is handmade – no plastic here! Our favourite buys were the fuzzy socks and the imprinted rolling pins. Truly great fun but also one can seriously put a dent in their Christmas shopping list.
