Now that I have made a concious decision to start building up my design portfolio, I am also getting back into DIY and craft projects that I used to do quite regularly in the past. I still need to totally up my game in terms of handyman skills (a course I am going to start looking for) but for now I am going to continue trying out a few fun things. Luckily, you can be assured these will require no real skill!
Today’s idea is super easy and quick to do but I think pretty impressive. The idea is to take a simple box frame (this Ribba one for IKEA is just perfect and at 10chf a bargain). Then you print and trim our free printable (see below) that we did in three different colour ways as well as in Afrikaans. You frame it up where the glass is now set away from the frame to create an “open” box. Then find a spot at your entrance and now you have the perfect spot to place your keys, wallet and phone. This makes the perfect Mothers Day, Fathers Day and even a Wedding Anniversay present?
