When I had said to Liam I am painting the walls in the Main Bedroom En Suite black, I think he thought I was joking. But I did it on a whim and I have to say it completely makes the space. The room, dressing room and bathroom were all in a neutral off white/grey tone and because the space is large everything just seemed to be a bit flat. By painting the walls black you would think the room would become smaller and darker, but instead with leaving the white ceilings and having the white shutters, it ended up perfectly “finishing off” the space making it more sophisticated and pulled together.
Most exciting the bathroom is a proper main bedroom one: so double basin, double shower and a very nice tub right next to the window. The only downside is that if we were here all the time I would fill the shelves with potted green plants.
And yes, finally a dressing room area where one can properly unpack their suitcases, and not have to trip over bags and shoes.
