This year as we are away from the 17th, I decided to make half an advent calendar for each of the girls. That way we don’t end up opening tons of little things the day before we leave “just to get it done”. Instead I could focus on getting 12 really nice things for each of them; and I could use numbers 1-12 for B and 13-24 for Zara. For Bailey’s advent I focused on her Schleich collection which is coming along nicely, some cute TY figurines and I split out a great Nativity Playmobil set. Zara’s was easy, as this year one could find mini Harry Potter figurines, wands and keyrings – and they are turning out to be great tree ornaments for her themed one!
