For our Housewarming, we decided to coincide it with Halloween and so had a Gallaghers Grimm Haunted Housewarming Party. It was such good fun and everyone dressed up so well! In the end I was pressed for time so didn’t take as many photos as I would have liked but I did sneak in some of Hansel and Gretel’s House of Candy. The idea was the kids could not just “get” candy and had to play games and win fake coins and then they could spend them at the Candy and Prizes shop I set up in the kitchen. Some of the cute games included Hook an Ugly Duckling, The Three Little Pigs Straw Draw, Pick Up Sticks and Pick a Brick, Snow White’s Bobbying for Apples, Robin Hood’s Target Shot, Rumpelstiltskin’s Spinng Wheel and my personal favourite Rapunzel’s Hair Tug of War – where I plaited a rope to tug on!

The kids loved it and played for over two hours. And it was also great fun for the parents as I had some man each station and they could swap when they needed a break or a drink! Definitely, a great idea to keep everyone entertained especially as it was suddenly super cold outside and not that many houses in Switzerland do trick or treating.
