Today is Zara’s official 12th birthday, but we are actually “missing it” completely as we left Zurich for Sydney on the 17th and will only arrive there on the 19th. So we are joking with Zara that she will never grow up and remain 11 forever, or at least for another year! To celebrate this magical day, we had a party a week ago with her grandparents who were visiting us in Switzerland. It was also on the Zug festival day of “Maerlisunntig” which is Fairytale Sunday and so it was fitting that the theme was the classic tale of Cinderella.
