After our tour of Xi’an we took a flight to the proper Chinese countryside and the city of Guilin. Here we hopped onto a boat and cruised the famous Li River for the day. The Li River or Li Jiang (Chinese: 漓江; pinyin: Lí Jiāng) is a river in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It flows 83 kilometres from Guilin to Yangshuo, where one can experience the maginificent karst mountains and river sights along the way.
