One of the main reasons we are moving is to have more space for the girls as they get older. It is a bit tricky now in that our living room, dining room, kitchen is all in one room and on one level. So there really isn’t space for the girls to have a room of their own to watch TV and socialise with their friends, instead they all hang out in the current living area and Liam and I have no quiet space! So, in the new house it is great as there is a good sized square shaped bedroom between the girls bedrooms that we are going to make into a PJ Lounge for them.
The room and it’s design didn’t even require much thought as most of the items are coming from our old lounge and in terms of décor I was inspired by Alice’s Wonderland exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum. Fortunately, having done the theme countless times for parties, I have so many props that will make the room stand out and the museum was so kind enough to let me know the exact paint colour they used too!
