One of the main draw cards of moving and renovating was that I could create a studio for myself in our home. Last year, I shared all the moodboards and the plan for the new space and this week I am sharing all of the photos of the “finished” project. The rooms I think will never be complete as I am always moving thigs around especially when I am doing photo shoots and I am also still testing out what and where things should go. But first here is the spot that I am currently in, as I am typing this blog post…

The “office” is a little corner of the larger studio space, and only has a set of drawers for stationery, paper and my photography equipment and a small desk for my PC and laptop. The furniture was from our last house, but I am glad it is limited in size. It forces me to tidy up and decide what I need, what can be tossed or if important I have to then and there find a proper permanent home for it – and therefore in the future I will know where it is. (But don’t worry for big craft projects I have the craft table area which I will show you next).
