Our new bedroom is actually going to be smaller than our current one, which I think initially worried me. But I soon realised that the only thing we use our bedroom for is sleeping. We have never had a TV in our bedroom, and where we have had dressing tables or lounging chairs before; we have never really used them for sitting or reading on. They have been great clothes hangers though!

So when putting together our moodboard this morning, I realised it seems pretty boring but to be honest that really is all that the room can hold: our current bed and two small side tables. I am hoping to possibly place a bench at the base of the bed but I will have to see once we are all moved in as I think our extra length bed may not allow for one.

To make the space a bit more interesting and I think relaxing: our headboard wall is at the moment being covered in the Cole & Son Fornasetti Mural. So we will literally be sleeping with our heads in the clouds! And then we have these pretty Gubi pendant lights, and I am hoping to add our Petite Friture mirror to the tiny sliver of a wall we have when entering the room and below a Ferm Living plant box. But I actually may need to forgo that idea for a tallboy of drawers. The problem being that we need more storage and we are very limited with wall space as two of the “walls” are in fact glass windows. But here is the look so far…
