After our visit to Mt. Nebo, we stopped off at a local mosaic studio and showroom: Nebo’s Pearl. Here we were able to learn and watch a demonstration of how the mosaics are traditionally made: the girls could even cut a piece or two! Afterwards we were able to look around and see all their incredible artwork. Knowing that we have no more wall space in our house, I didn’t think we would be spending that much time there but then I was thrilled to see that they also made small (and large) mosaic tables which was just perfect as this was one of the items I had on my 2019 house wish list. We ended up choosing the tree of life and the same animal scene that we saw on the floor of the Mt. Nebo church. I can’t wait for them to arrive here in Switzerland, and as soon as they do I’ll be sure to share photos of the side tables in their new home on our patio.
P.S. other great gifts they had included the blue Jodanian stone set in jewellery and a large variety of Dead Sea face and body products – we particularly liked their sun screen!
