After our holidaying in Brazil and Argentina, we made our way to Peru and specifically our first stop was Lima. We stayed one night in the Belmond Milaflores and had organised a half-day tour of the City first thing after an amazing breakfast spread.

The tour unfortunately was a bit rushed as we had scheduled a lunch appointment at one of the World’s Most Famous Restaurants (more about that in another post) but to be a hundred percent honest I think we touched on all the main attractions (the musuems, the main square, and the shopping district) albeit we could have done it at a slower pace.

MY BEST TRAVEL TIP?
The Museo Larco is a must visit. As our first stop in Peru it was the perfect place to learn all about the history of Peru and the Incas. The place is beautifully laid out and the collection magnificent – as too their garden. We didn’t have the chance but if I were you I would plan to spend some time here and enjoy their restaurant too.
