From Lima we made our way to Cusco in Peru and then specifically to, the beautiful Río Urubamba Valley, known as El Valle Sagrado (The Sacred Valley). Here we visited the attractive colonial towns, their markets and the lofty Inca citadels of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. A peaceful and fetching corner of the Andes Mountains especially when enjoying a late lunch at a hacienda or feeding baby llamas by milk bottle!
