UGLY SWEATER PARTY
The holidays can be a stressful time and it seems like there is a never-ending list of things to do, but here is an easy way to have a bit of good old-fashioned fun with your family and friends and to help everyone get into the holiday spirit.
NO JUMPER, NO ACCESS
A colourful Christmas card or humorous e-invite works great; most importantly you will want stress that everyone has to wear an ugly sweater to be granted entrance into the party! After all that is the theme and is the best part of the entire event.
COOL AND KITSCH
To set the scene; bring out all your old Christmas decorations, the tackier the better: Christmas lights, tinsel, cheap and cheerful baubles. We particularly love this Ugly Sweater Garland from Party Pieces or how about their jumper themed wooden bunting and paper chains.
SWEATER WEATHER
You and your guests can go as tame or crazy as you want with your knitted jumpers; but naturally we recommend the latter. Make it a competition and hand out prizes for the best dressed or rather that should be worst! Other fun categories include the best DIY, most colourful and most sparkly.
