On our return to Rome, having not been able to see any of the sites when we landed at the start of the cruise, I decided to treat us all to a night in a five star hotel with a great location to visit all the must-see destinations. The hotel is impressive but I did make the error of not reading the Trip Advisor reviews which I usually always do and to be honest they are accurate. Whilst the hotel’s location is brilliant and the building and lobby room décor impressive – the finer details of the hotel rooms need a little bit of work. Not bad at all but more four star than five (ha! like I stay in five star all the time!). Anyway, we enjoyed our two days there and it was so easy just to be able to take a step out the door and already be in the heart of Rome!
