Our long weekend in Edinburgh was just too short… and so I thought I should also share some other ideas that we had planned to do but ran out of time.
The Witchery – This is an amazing restaurant that my friend Charlotte recommended. Unfortunately, it was fully booked for our dates, so if you are keen to visit; reserve the same time you book your flights!
Dynamic Earth – We actually walked all the way to this musuem only for it to be closed on Mondays in the Winter. So be sure to check the opening hours. But it looks like a great showcase of the lifetime of our planet.
Camera Obscura – We were right next to this experience as it is a stone’s throw from the Castle entrance and the Scotch Whiskey Tasting Experience so a good idea if adults want to extend their Whisky tour. Unfortunately for us we were already running late for our dinner reservation but it looked like super fun!
And I know this is not unique to Scotland but next time I would plan a full shopping day, as I missed going to Cath Kidston and having lunch at Jamie Oliver!
