The little village we stayed in Mallorca: Deia is picture perfect! All the houses are made from stone and sit atop stone terraces with views out to the Mediterranean Sea. Our villa we stayed in was half way up the small hill which if you continue walking takes you to the Church on the top. The village is small and so a local supermarket, mayor office, police station, post office, Italian restaurant, two clothing stores, two art galleries and a ceramist’s studio pretty sums up the entire town! We enjoyed walking through the streets, tracing the 14 stages of the cross up to the Church, and listening to the ladies in the afternoon practice their castanets in the mini “amphitheater” next to our house.
