After our stay in Queensland, we went to Uluru and stayed at the Ayers Rock Resort. This was a complete change of weather and now we were experiencing extreme heat: 46 degrees plus! This was the true Australian Outback and we loved it! After an early check in, we braved the heat and went to go and watch the Red Desert Reptiles Show. I highly recommend this show and any similar one, it was great to see the snakes and lizards up close but also to learn all about them and most importantly what do in case you should encounter one of these in the wild. The show also included showing us first aid in case you should ever be bitten by a snake and the cool snake bite kit that one can get. Last but not least, you could hold one of the lizards and or snakes but this is where I drew the line but Liam and the girls loved it!
