Vienna: Haus der Musik

As part of our first day of touring Vienna we visited the Haus der Musik. We had a real good time and our favourites included running up and down the musical piano stairs, playing giant instruments, listening to the “pods” where you put your head inside a hole in the wall and each one takes you to a different part of the world. You get to hear sounds from a hilltop village in Turkey to the bells ringing in St. Marks Square in Venice. Bailey loved conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Zara enjoyed learning all about the composers especially now that she is learning to play the piano.
