For our 14th Wedding Anniversary, Liam found such a beautiful restaurant to celebrate; and would you believe it is down the road from us. Restaurant Wart is in Hünenberg and is described as a modern kitchen rooted in tradition. The building inside and out is a stunning traditional Swiss Farm House, and all the food is either grown in their garden or sourced directly from the area. We had the tasting menu by their chef Sebastian Rabe and I can see why he has been awarded 15 Gault&Millau points and one of the Top 4 restaurants in Zug. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff so friendly and knowlegeable – usually we find such places a bit prentious but we really enjoyed ourselves and are already planning our next visit – I am still dreaming about their walnut sorbet waffles!
