The City of Zug has quite a few parks that you and your kids can enjoy. It is sometimes tricky to know where they all are. Our favourite is the one right in the City downtown, as it is pretty close to the shops, so usually after an afternoon of shopping, I would promise the girls that we would head to the park afterwards. (It is the only green patch on this map and right next to the lake). Parking can be tricky so usually we park at COOP City and walk down.

The park is surrrounded by a hedge the whole way around, so great to let your kids run around without worrying too much about being on the road, but has there are many entrances you do need to still keep an eye.

Some of the things we loved to do when they were little included: the sandpit (do bring a bucket and spade I always seemed to forget – luckily COOP and Manor are up the road), the big red slide, the swings, the seesaw and the merry-go round which made Bailey so sick the one time (so limit the turns!).

Now that the girls are older it is still a great place to relax in the shade and chat, make daisy chains and they do have a large stone area that often I see all ages (even men dressed in suits obviously on their lunch break) playing boucce.
