How “terrible” that just five minutes from us is the Museum of Prehistory and we only visited it for the first time this year. The museum (which is free on Sundays) offers a contemporary exhibition of archaeological finds from the Canton Zug (some of the pieces were found down the road from us!). The scenes are presented in a lively manner showcasing everyday life from the Ice Age to the Early Middle Ages. The girls were even able to take part in a DIY mini workshop of making their own stone age hair comb.
