For the past few years, we have made it an autumn tradition to head out to Jucker Farm. It is a huge farm just outside Zurich City in Seegraben that goes all out in the Fall Season. They decide on a theme each year, and then make huge structures out of pumpkins. It is always amazing and this year we had such a soft spot for all their creations as the theme was The Forest and so all the animals were woodland ones: Bailey loved the squirrel and Zara naturally was besotted with the owl; both Liam and I were really impressed with the little carved out pumpkin creatures that were sleeping or having a picnic.

Speaking of which, the other major highlight for us is the huge availbility of pumpkins to eat, to buy and to carve! We did all three!

And even if pumpkins are not your thing there are other great autumn activities to do: there is a barefoot trail, an apple orchard maze, haystacks to jump on and goats to feed!

TOP TIP: Get there early! The parking near the farm is limited, so either wake up early or it is possible to take a direct bus from the train station but that might limit your pumpkin purchases!
