On Wednesday afternoon, Bailey and I were in Zurich and happended to be right next to the Botanical Gardens having never been there before and hardly ever in Zurich we had to go in. As Spring is still a few weeks away, the gardens are still looking a bit bare and wintery but the Tropical Domes are amazing all year round.
There are three different domes: the Amazon forest, the African Savannah and then I’m not really sure what is the exact term in English but the third is “Bergwald” and is all the vegetation found in the mountainous regions of South America and Asia. We were pressed for time but the gardens looked huge so I am sure there is lots more to see and here is even a cafeteria on the premises and entrance is free so a great afternoon activity with kids!
